Lotus Village Resort - Mui Ne

Good points : it gave what I needed: a private beach, 2 beautiful clean swimming pools (not too big but big enough) + convenience ( everything is around : local restaurants of many styles + western restaurants +spa +cafes+ shops+buses+bars....). The pool right next to the private beach makes it a beautiful view to enjoy. The design follows the old Vietnamese style which is beautiful to me. However, it may create a feeling that the place is old and not so clean. But my room is clean. My room is in the area across the street, and is on the first floor. In that hill area, it's like a village, where see other neighbors chatting laughing taking photos... There is still privacy but more fun than staying in the other modern resorts. Not good points: - crowds: it was really crowded at the weekend. Too noisy sometimes. The pool near the beach may be really crowded. It might be really noisy if you stay next to the families with little kids... So, good luck! - staff: the receptionists are helpful, but I could see they got impatient when they had to deal with many guests at the same time. The other staff uhmm... They're friendly but not really helpful. They ignored my request when I ordered my food. They said yes but I didn't do it . The housekeeper didn't block my room when she got out. She even forgot her keys in my room. And they seem to be too casual when talking out loud about their overtime shifts... But in general, nothing serious happened. - rooms: I like my room. And I think the room with sea views are really beautiful and convenient. However, I could see some rooms with no beautiful views or too far from the reception/ requiring many steps which will be hard if you have much luggage. So, check your room carefully before you book.

All very nice, beaches are very small but pleasant and great pool

Just love it. The location, the service and accommodation. The beach and pool facilities. All worth money. I’ll definitely come back here

I'm sure it used be a elegant hotel, but not anymore. The overall design and garden, pool are very nice. Especially the garden design and maintenance are excellent. The garden and pool surrounding rooms at the hill side are quiet and peaceful. The pool at the sea front has wonderful scenary. But the rooms are worn out and the service isn't quite at a premium level. The people who want to take nice photos could be satisfied. Considering the price, it’s a decent stay overall.

I love their breakfast, many great choise and a great environment to enjoy our meal. All facilities that have, that's can see this resort ever have 4-5 stastandardsrd. But due to some facility long time, no servicing or repair. Now, just become 3 star.

Very nice property in Vietnamese style. A/C , big bathroom (with hot water), fridge, kettle, TV (a bit old) , WIFI (fast & stable),king size comfortable bed, balcony , awesome swimming pool on beach side with sea view & second one on garden side. Everything what you need you can find around, shops...restaurants...etc, but very quiet area anyway. Rooms directly upfront sea beach (sandy). The rooms needs renovation.... especially bathroom. Too high a price even after the discount

Really nice place but unfortunately the arrival of a big group (30+ people) spoiled the peace and quiet. The group took over the pool area(both Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning) had a big speaker playing loud music which made it impossible to relax and enjoy the weekend. A real shame as otherwise I'm sure it would have been wonderful.

The resort is stunning . Infinity pool is looking into the ocean. How could u go wrong . Amazing restaurants close by. It's just awesome. Now the staff. So unfriendly. They stand and watch you at breakfast. And talk..I have no idea if they are speaking about you, but it feels that way no smiles . No good morning other than the desk staff. I felt uncomfortable and weird the way they stared at you at breakfast. There are good options for brekky, but unless u eat eggs, food is cold .. no heaters used . Pancakes pre-made and left out for 4 hours pho soup was great that was made to order. So stuck to eggs n pho if u want your food hot. The rooms are configured that u need to keep bathroom and shower area doors closed at all times, esp in the heat. As they are open to outside and bring in the heat. Lots of towels . No coffee and beds were solid. I used all the extra pillows.to make a softer area for me 1st 2 nights, my back seized , it's that solid. The ground is on both sides of the road. It's one of the most beautiful hotels i have been in. I do wish the staff were nicer it really makes or breaks an experience.
